The Moments

 Moments Of  Eric and Calleigh's
Season 1-Now
Season 1

Episode 1.03 - Wet Foot/Dry Foot. Horatio riles up the Cuban community by interrogating the family of a young refugee that was found dead in a raft in the middle of the ocean. To try and avoid the conflict with his neighbors, Eric asks Calleigh if he can crash at her place. Calleigh avoids the question and Eric nervously explains why he doesn't want to go home. Calleigh is reluctant, but finally agrees and adds, "No midnight tiptoe, deal?" Eric deals laughingly, knowing exactly what the term means, and he starts to slide up behind Calleigh. She's neither unaware nor opposed to this, and the sexually charged moment ends when she asks him to look at some evidence she's discovered.

Episode 1.13 - Bunk. Eric and Calleigh are investigating the death of an older woman in a retirement community. As they walk to the crime scene, they discuss, and playfully disagree, on what they will do with their grandmothers. Eric playfully refers to Calleigh as "Southern", while she calls him "Cuban".

Episode 1.14 - Forced Entry. The team is working a case where a crematorium worker is found dead and there are quite a few bodies that were supposed to be cremated piled up behind the building. The Eric and Calleigh moment is when they are with Alexx in the morgue and Alexx is about to microwave the dead crematorium worker's hand to find out what he was holding when he died. Calleigh gets a little wigged out when Alexx and Eric act as if microwaving a body part is nothing new- then gets over it when she's the one pushing the buttons. Eric, in the meantime, is getting a great laugh out of the whole deal.

Episode 1.15 - Dead Woman Walking. Eric gets a small dose of radiation while processing contaminated evidence. When he finally gets the all clear (he's told that his level of exposure is the same as what a pilot would get on a flight to Paris), Calleigh tells him to just take the trip to Paris the next time because it would be easier on everyone involved.

Episode 1.17 - Simple Man
. A man responsible for killing a woman is about to be found innocent by the county, until a second body is discovered. The team has very little time to prove that the man did it before the case is thrown out. Eric has been diving all night through sewage to find the gun used to kill the victim, while Calleigh has been stressed out tackling two cases at once. They meet in the hallway and Calleigh inquires about the gun. Eric tells her he put it in her lab to process hours before. Calleigh goes on about being tied to the lab on ballistics evidence, and Eric tells her that he's been just as tied up looking for other evidence. Calleigh stops and they apologize to each other, while holding onto each other's hips, before Calleigh leads the way and they get back to work.

Episode 1.18 - Dispo Day. While investigating an ambush on a police truck full of drug evidence on its way to being destroyed, Speedle is shot (he was wearing a vest). This leads to an IA investigation where everyone on the team is questioned to find out who leaked the information about the drug truck. This makes everyone a little uptight. Calleigh is saved from a soda by Eric, who reminds her that they're not supposed to have caffeine, and Calleigh thinks it's funny that Eric feels guilty when he hasn't done anything wrong. He claims it's because he's Catholic.

Episode 1.20 - Grave Young Men. Calleigh and Eric are working a case where a few teens have been playing with guns. The case initially starts because an ex-con is looking for his son, who seems to have gone missing, and the ex-con goes to Horatio. The Eric and Calleigh moment comes when Calleigh is going over a tree stump with a fine tooth comb and x-ray to see what kinds of bullets the boys were using. Due to the fact that Calleigh had the x-ray machine going, Eric couldn't help because he didn't have a lead apron and therefore couldn't enter the room, at which point, Calleigh basically tells him to stay out, with an impish grin on her face.

Episode 1.21 - Spring Break. Eric and Calleigh are investigating the death of a college boy at a motel, who has appeared to have drowned as his body is still at the bottom of the pool. Eric strips down to his wetsuit to retrieve the victim, much to the delight of the bystanding young ladies. A few of the girls hail Calleigh, and ask if he's got a girlfriend after telling Calleigh that her friend is "totally hot". Calleigh, slightly embarrassed by this question, offhandedly answers "Not at the moment" before walking away. She later jokingly tells Eric, who thinks the girls are cute, that the girls thought he was cute, and were wondering if he had a younger brother.

PART 2

Season 2
Episode 2.02 - Dead Zone. This is where the flirtation is kind of obvious. Eric has gone diving at a salvage site and found what may have led to a murder, and Horatio and Calleigh are waiting for him back on the boat. As he strips off his gear (too bad for us he didn't take off the wet suit, too!) Calleigh asks what he found. Eric playfully responds "I swear I saw a mermaid." Calleigh's response is a playful and flirtatious "Dream on, Diver Man." This shows how comfortable they are with each other- who else could comment on something like that in that manner except close friends...or people that are more than friends?

Episode 2.03
- Hard Time. This episode has to do with a rape victim who keeps fighting. Her "body" is found in a partially constructed condo. Eric was originally supposed to be on the call out, but he called Calleigh to cover for him, which she did. (and obviously this isn't the last time she's covered for him either) Calleigh does get a little angry with him for being late (again) but keeps it between herself and Eric that she thinks they never would've found the girl alive if he'd been the one that had to be at the scene.

Episode 2.04 - Death Grip. When a young white girl is kidnapped, the entire city goes on full alert. Later on, the team discovers the same kidnapper may have been involved in the kidnap and murder of a young Cuban girl. Eric is pissed and frustrated at the blatant discrimination shown by the authorities - who pulled out all the stops for the white girl, but dismissed the Cuban girl as a runaway. Calleigh is the only one who sees Eric's frustration and tries to comfort him. When Eric attends the Cuban girl's wake, Calleigh shows up to support him. Also, when guest star Jeff Corwin gets a little enthusiastic about Eric introducing him to Calleigh, Eric says 'Easy!', as if to ward him off.

Episode 2.05 - The Best Defense. Calleigh has been "secretly" seeing Detective John Hagen when her dad shows up wanting her to examine the evidence to one of his cases. The case is assigned to Eric, who Hagen tells to dismiss what turns out to be important evience. When Calleigh finds Eric to check his progress, he tells her what Hagen wanted him to do, which also shows that most of Eric's reason for not liking Hagen has to do with Calleigh. Eric also tells Calleigh that he knows about her and Hagen. Calleigh later confronts Hagen and breaks up with him.

Episode 2.06 - Hurricane Anthony. Calleigh and Eric don't really work this case together. However, the Eric and Calleigh moment is at the end, when they compliment each other on solving their respective parts of the case. Eric tells Calleigh that she'd be the only person he knows that would find something good to come out of a hurricane, which makes her smile.

Episode 2.07
- Grand Prix. The Eric and Calleigh moments are mainly just them teasing each other about something or other. There's also a scene where Eric is trying to get some help from the pit crews and having no luck. When Calleigh stops by and tries her hand, he is shocked to see how easy and quick it seems to be for Calleigh to do stuff like that!

Episode 2.10 - Extreme. Eric gets into a fight and Calleigh is worried. Calleigh gets a little jealous when she finds out it's about a woman.

Episode 2.11 -
Complications. Here is another example of their comfortable brand of teasing that can only occur between close friends. Eric is examining the rope used to hang a man in his condo and Calleigh makes the very cliche joke, "Are you tied up?", to which Eric responds, "Cute." with a smile. When she disappointedly asks if she's been beat to it with the joke, Eric can only laugh and tell her that the entire day shift pretty much used the same method.

Episode 2.14 - Stalkerazzi. This is another episode with some seemingly innocent teasing between Eric and Calleigh while working a case. Calleigh is looking through photos and Eric comes in and makes a flip book out of them, thus bringing them to the conclusion that there was something going on that had the people in the pictures looking in a different direction from their original target. More teasing ensues in the firearms lab when Eric comes in, asking the same question of Calleigh and getting his exact answer from her.

Episode 2.15 - Invasion. A man is taken from his home after an apparently random home invasion. There is never a ransom call, so everyone assumes the worst, especially when the man is identified as a wealthy surfboard manufacturer. Eric and Calleigh really show the extent of their friendship here, when they argue over the fairness of Eric getting to go up in a helicopter to scan the city with a thermal viewer to locate the dump site for the man's body. Eric's rationale is that he was on hand when Horatio ordered the sky search, which entitles him to go. At this point, Calleigh is basically pouting when she tells him that she "expects pictures" since she can't go with him.

Episode 2.18 - Wannabe. A body is found inside a dumpster, covered by ants. Eric asks Calleigh if she wants to do the honors, but Calleigh nervously reveals she has ant phobia. Eric takes over, and later encourages Calleigh to get over her fears by allowing her to crawl inside an ant tank. To this date, Eric is the only member of the team who knows about her fear of ants.

Episode 2.21 - Not Landing. Eric and Calleigh work a case where a pilot who lives in an airstrip neighborhood crash lands on the beach. They find that one of the neighbors is a tech-inclined Peeping Tom, and bet each other on which of the neighbors it is. Calleigh wins and Eric pays up, commenting that his lost bet at least pays for a search warrant.

Episode 2.23 - MIA/NYC- Non- Stop. This is the crossover episode for CSI:NY, where Horatio goes to New York to track down a murderer. The Eric and Calleigh scene is when they start discussing the possibilities of their suspect originally being from New York, or that he still lives under an assumed name.

PART 2

SEASON 3

Episode 3.02 - Pro Per. When a former con is arrested, he acts as his own lawyer and proves to be smarter than he appears. He shows up at the lab, asking to see some important evidence. Calleigh tries to stop him but the con, who is way taller and heavier than her, insists rather brassly. Eric witnesses the confrontation and comes over, gets in between Calleigh and the con and threatens him to use physical force if he doesn't leave. The con man leaves reluctantly, and Calleigh turns to Eric and snaps at him for coming to her rescue. Eric thought she needed a little help, but Calleigh insists he undermined her. Later on, as Calleigh questions Eric about the evidence he is processing, he humorously asks her if she's undermining him. Calleigh smiles and apologizes for snapping at him early on, and admits he was right for coming over to help her. They smile at each other and continue working on the evidence.

Episode 3.04 - Murder in a Flash. Eric and Calleigh investigate a "flash mob" where someone leaves the victim on a golf course. The situation with the students at the school is no better. Seeing the kinds of things the kids do in school, Eric reflects on how he was in school and considers himself an angel compared to the guys at the school.

Episode 3.07 - Speed Kills. Eric and Calleigh join forces to play a joke on Ryan. It's the first time we see them laugh together since Speed was killed. It's also impressive that Eric knew what Calleigh was doing without her having to prepare him for the joke.

Episode 3.23 - Whacked. The tension between Eric and Ryan is in full bloom, and Calleigh is forced to play mediator between the two. Later on, when Eric and Calleigh are alone, Eric expresses his unhappiness that Calleigh always defends Ryan. Calleigh denies his accusations, reassuring Eric that he's the one she trusts "with every fiber of my being." Eric smiles and softens up considerably. This is a very important episode, as we learn that Eric is the only man in Calleigh's life that she trusts so deeply, due to the fact that she grew up with an alcoholic father and has gone through multiple bad relationships. Calleigh's admission of such an intimate thing shows how truly close these two are.

Episode 3.24 - 10-7. Disturbed by his ex-partner's suicide and his inability to have Calleigh, John Hagen's mental state is not well. He puts his gun to Calleigh's head while she is processing a scene, but slips away before she sees him. Eric finds her in the lab and helps her identify the gun. Before she can trace it to Hagen, he shows up in her lab and shoots himself in the head in front of her. Calleigh is in shock after witnessing this, and when Alexx comes to collect the body, she tells Eric that he may be the only one who can get through to Calleigh. Eric tries to comfort Calleigh, but the walls she's built around herself are hard to climb. Calleigh resigns as the ballistics expert at the end of the episode.

PART 2

Special Thanks to belluvsmiami2 and MimoriKiryu for provided the videos

Season 4

Episode 4.08 - Nailed. Ryan gets shot in the eye with a nail gun at a crime scene that Eric was supposed to cover. We find out that Eric's absence is due to issues with Marisol. Calleigh sees Eric talking to Marisol outside the hospital after Ryan is admitted. She assumes that Mari is one of his "girlfriends" and politely tells him to handle his personal relationships on personal time. At first this seems cold, until Calleigh starts telling him about losing respect if he keeps messing up at work due to personal problems. Notice that Calleigh is always polite and calm when talking Eric about stuff like that, but totally blows her top with anyone else. This is classic "Calleigh covering his backside" material.

Episode 4.09 - Urban Hellraisers. Eric gets caught in a bank robbery committed by a group of what we later learn are students imitating a top rated video game. Eric is stuck analyzing a mask from one of the robbers and running it through a facial recognition program against the Dade University athletic department database. This is one of the times when we see Calleigh and Eric's friendship flourish, especially when they joke and tease about the things they do. This shows that they respect and trust each other enough to take the serious talk and jokes all in stride.

Episode 4.10 - Shattered. Eric has been buying marijuana for Marisol to help her deal with the pain from chemo. Earlier in the season, Ryan and Calleigh saw rolling papers in Eric's kit, but didn't know what they were for. In this episode, Eric's dealer rats him out. It's not long before the gossip makes it to Calleigh, who sours considerably and ruthlessly sticks up for Eric. While everyone else, including Horatio, wonders if Eric was really doing drugs, Calleigh refuses to believe it. Stetler finds out and is set to fire Eric. During her interview with Stetler, Calleigh lies and tells him that she's never seen him buying or using drugs, or with drug paraphernalia.

Season 5

Episode 5.01 - Rio. Horatio and Eric go to Rio to catch Marisol's killer. While they're there, Calleigh keeps track of them through their cell phones' GPS systems. When Eric goes missing and nearly gets killed, it is Calleigh who discovers his signal has been lost and calls Horatio, who finds Eric and saves his life.

Episode 5.02 - Going Under. When Calleigh is pushed off the road while heading back to the lab, Eric is second only to Horatio in asking how she's doing. He's also the one trying to offer her words of confidence and support when Calleigh starts to doubt herself for not noticing every detail in a life or death situation. By this point in their relationship, you can see that Eric is just a little bit protective of Calleigh in most situations and doesn't like anyone messing with her.Episode 5.07 - High Octane. Eric and Ryan end up with the crime scene when a boy is decapitated doing trick driving in a waterfront parking lot. Calleigh comes into the lab when Eric starts to process the evidence and proceeds to tease him about the number of bottles he has to process and how he got the bottles over doing DNA and trace. Then she sticks around to verify Eric's suspicions about the fingerprints found on the bottles.

Episode 5.12 - Internal Affairs. Eric is very irritated by Jake working a case that was originally his.

Episode 5.13 - Throwing Heat. Eric shows up at the lab in a suit, and Calleigh doesn't hide her appreciation for his good looks, calling him "hot stuff" as they flirt a little. Later in the episode, Eric witnesses an assault and steps in to defend the woman. It turns out that the couple are married con artists who sue Eric for attacking the husband. Eric goes to Calleigh for advice, but ends up settling out of court to keep people from looking into the lab's activities, especially after his and Horatio's unsanctioned trip to Rio. Calleigh comforts him in the end, telling him that she's got his back.

Episode 5.15 - Man Down. While looking for a kidnapping victim with Horatio, Eric is shot in the head. Eric's heart stops a few times, but the doctor is able to stabilize him. While he is unconscious, Calleigh visits him and puts a crucifix in his hand. Later, when she visits again, Eric is awake and sweetly whispers her name before asking for Mari. Not wanting to tell him that Mari is dead, Calleigh urges Eric to rest. Outside, she talks to Alexx, who reveals that fragments of the bullet are still lodged in Eric's brain, and that he may not be the guy that they've always known. Calleigh fights tears as she looks at Eric through the viewing glass. This is the first time we see her cry.

Episode 5.16 - Broken Home. Eric is back after being shot, but having memory and motor problems. Calleigh confronts him when he messes up on some evidence, but unlike her explosive reactions with Ryan's mistakes, she's very tender and understanding of Eric. Eric is much harder on himself, and wonders if he returned to work too soon and if he should stop working. Calleigh tells him that they need him.

Episode 5.21 - Just Murdered. The con artist who sued Eric is back, and wondering why she hasn't been getting any money from the settlement. Eric doesn't remember her due to his brain injury. Calleigh pulls him aside and explains the situation, and tells him to keep working on the case while she deals with the woman. Later, Eric thanks her for what she did, and Calleigh reassures him that he would've done the same for her. Eric explains that he's grateful for all of her help in the last year. Calleigh appreciates the comment and, without giving it much thought, reaches up and kisses him on the cheek. Eric is shocked at first and they share an awkward moment before Calleigh walks away. Eric watches her leave with a huge grin on his face.

Episode 5.22 - Burned. After the kiss, the romantic and sexual tension between Eric and Calleigh escalates. While processing a scene, Calleigh gets a shard of glass in her finger. Eric comes over quickly and removes it. The tension rises when Calleigh tenderly says his name as they share a long moment looking into each other's eyes. Eric chuckles nervously and breaks eye contact, only to notice that the piece of glass from her finger is an important piece of evidence. Natalia teases Eric about his growing crush on Calleigh, where his reaction is bashful befuddlement, something completely unexpected from the formerly smooth Eric Delko.

Episode 5.23 - Kill Switch. Eric steps off the elevator and spots Calleigh. He smiles brightly and watches her for a moment. Meanwhile, Calleigh is talking to Jake on the phone. When she realizes Eric is watching her, she quickly hangs up. Eric comments that it's great to see her smile, and asks if she was talking to Jake. Calleigh confirms that she was talking to Jake and comments that she and Jake could go on a date if they weren't so busy with work, then quickly changes the subject.

Episode 5.24 - Born To Kill. Jake is hurt in a car crash and, while processing a scene, Eric comments bitterly that he thinks Jake wishes Calleigh were with him at the hospital. Calleigh stops him and comments that she was at the hospital with Eric. Eric claims it was different when it was him. Calleighh realizes that Eric is jealous and reassures him that she trusts him with her life while she doesn't know what she feels for Jake, essentially admitting that she's torn between them. Calleigh confirms that she has feelings for Eric, but because they work so closely in comparison to her and Jake, a relationship between them would be deemed inappropriate. Eric smiles at the small victory he's garnered from her admission. At the end, Jake kisses Calleigh in the lobby and Eric witnesses the kiss morosely. When Calleigh gets in the elevator with Jake, she looks back and realizes guiltily that Eric saw the whole thing as he stands there, looking heartbroken and a little bitter.

PART 1

PART 2

Season 6

Episode 6.01 - Dangerous Son. Eric sees Calleigh at their latest crime scene and notes out loud that she has a nice new tan. When she tells him it's the product of five days in Antigua, he comments on Jake's identical tan, with obvious jealousy. He later asks Jake how it was in Antigua and barely holds back a retort to Jake's answer. Eric's obvious displeasure in knowing that Calleigh and Jake went on a vacation away from Miami together is evident in his speculating looks for the rest of the episode.

Episode 6.04 - Bang, Bang Your Debt. While on the scene of a car fire, Eric starts having visions of Speedle, captured in photos taken by a lab tech at Calleigh's request. Eric's face in these photos simply says "I'm seeing a dead person", which Calleigh later questions out of concern and Eric shrugs off. Later, they find that someone has been using Speed's credit card, which Eric feels is validation for his visions. It is later revealed that Eric's visions are the result of his brain trying to rewire itself, which may cause similar hallucinations in the future. Calleigh and Eric discover that Dan Cooper has been using Speed's credit card, which he stole from Speed's old locker.

Episode 6.05 - Deep Freeze. Eric is informed by Stetler of a pending change to the department's fraternization policy after he hugs Natalia while popping her shoulder back into place. Eric lets it slip that if IA wants to reprimand Calleigh and Jake, they should do their own dirty work. Stetler's shock at this makes Eric realize his mistake, and when he tries to give Calleigh a heads up, he can't reach her. Jake's true colors come out when he tells Calleigh the situation and backs off instead of fighting for their relationship. Calleigh gets upset with Eric, thinking he spilled the beans out of spite, and doesn't give him a chance to explain, which shows how hurt she is by his supposed betrayal

.
Episode 6.06 - Sunblock. Tensions are high between Eric and Calleigh as a result of the pending change in department policy in regards to personal relationships between coworkers. When Eric carefully notes that Calleigh is still upset with him, she tells him that she's not and that he only sped up the inevitable. With that confirmation in mind, Eric tells Calleigh that if he had been in the same position, he would've changed shifts, making it clear that Calleigh means much more to him than the job. Calleigh is touched by his sincerity and seems to consider his words, likely making a quick mental comparison of Eric and Jake, who immediately tried to protect his career by backing away from their relationship. This shows that Calleigh is at the top of Eric's priority list.

Episode 6.09 - Stand Your Ground. Calleigh is invloved in an off-duty shooting that results in two deaths, and Eric is arguably the only person to make an effort to comfort her. He joins her at the back of the ambulance and asks the tough questions, providing words of comfort and holding her when she cries. Calleigh is the rock of the team and never dares show vulnerability, so it is significant that she even allows herself to cry in Eric's presence, much less in his arms. This shows her implicit trust in him. Conversely, Jake shows very little interest in Calleigh's well-being, even after being confronted about the fact that his drinking has gotten her in more trouble with IAB. After Eric extracts the bullet that clears Calleigh, she smiles and thanks him. Her smile quickly wanes when Eric reveals Jake's involvement in finding the bullet. Eric reluctantly comments that maybe Jake isn't so bad, but Calleigh's reaction makes it seem that she is questioning that herself.

Episode 6.10 - My Nanny. While processing a teenage suspect's room, Calleigh makes an off-handed remark about children by asking Eric if he can imagine raising kids given the hours they work. Eric immediately responds affirmatively, which elicits a surprised look from Calleigh. Eric jokinglly suggests that Calleigh is implying that he wouldn't be a good father, but Calleigh replies by saying that she thinks he'd be a great dad and that she's merely surprised because he's never mentioned children before. Eric then makes a very loaded comment about starting a family when he finds the right girl. Before Calleigh can really respond, Eric finds the evidence they've been looking for and calls her attention to it, satisfied that he's made his point.

Episode 6.13 - Raising Caine. This is where Horatio is trying to get Kyle out of prison, and suddenly Julia appears out of nowhere. Calleigh is so determined to nail the murder charges on Julia. Eric gets the results and proves that Calleigh is wrong and jumped the gun with assumption.

Episode 6.14 - You May Now Kill The Bride. Calleigh and Eric go back to the scene of the murder to recreate the moment in order to discover the intended target. Calleigh stands at the altar and puts on the bride's fake veil. Eric has a smile on his face and looks at her longingly. Calleigh smiles back and tells Eric that she'll kill him if he ever tells anyone. Eric returns the smile and gets back to work.

Episode 6.15 - Ambush. When Eric realizes Calleigh's been kidnapped, he goes beyond the amount of worry typical between friends. When Cooper posts Calleigh's new number, Eric storms his condo and takes Cooper down, screaming at him for Calleigh's location. Cooper denies having anything to do with Calleigh's disappearance and Eric promises to come back and kill him personally if anything happens to Calleigh. You can feel the emotions- concern and care- radiating from Eric.

Episode 6.16 - All In. Calleigh is still missing and the team is trying to find her, especially Eric. Natalia notes the similarities between Calleigh's kidnapping and Kathleen Newberry's case. Eric adamantly informs her that he won't let the same thing happen to Calleigh, and Natalia cues in on Eric's feelings for Calleigh. When they finally get Calleigh's location from a suspect that turned himself in, Eric, Ryan, Frank and Horatio converge on it, and Eric is the one that Calleigh goes to. At the end of the episode, Eric walks Calleigh out to her Hummer but insists that she's not going home alone. Calleigh tries to tell him that she's fine, but he insists on going with her. He finally reveals that he doesn't know what he would've done if anything had happened to her, and she finally agrees to let him take her home.

Episode 6.20 - Down to the Wire. Calleigh covers for Eric again by claiming that his notes (from "Ambush") are hers, which allows Stetler to pull her from their current case and force her to take a refresher course. Eric is completely against letting her take the reprimand for him until Calleigh tells him that she knows he can nail the criminal. At the end of the episode, they agree to keep the truth about the notes between the two of them.

Episode 6.21 - Going Ballistic. This is the Season 6 finale. Calleigh is back on the job after finishing the refresher course that she took in Eric's place. Some of Calleigh's ballistics evidence turns out to be really old and goes off in the lab, causing havoc in Firearms. Calleigh tells Eric that he's her hero when he comes to the rescue and helps her find the one uncompromised bullet.

Here Some Scene From Season 6

PART 2

PART 3

SEASON 7

Episode 7.03 - And How Does That Make You Kill?. Eric's therapist's (Dr. Rachel March) daughter is killed. When Dr. Marsh is allowed back into her office, she finds that all of her files are missing. Dr. Marsh is then killed while Eric and the team try to find her files. Eric starts going through these files upon finding them in hopes of finding her killer, and convinces Calleigh to help. Calleigh ends up with Eric's file and reads it apprehensively, learning of Eric's true feelings for her. At the end, she tells Eric that he can always talk to her about anything, then walks away with a smile on her face- leaving Eric looking satisfied.

Episode 7.04 - Raging Cannibal. Calleigh makes a comment about how often she forgets that Eric is part Russian when he shows how much he knows about Russian gang symbols and the Russian language.

Episode 7.06 - Wrecking Crew. Eric and Calleigh deal with the death of their witness in a huge case. Calleigh's first reaction when the attack happens is panic and concern for Eric, as is his for her. Eric also offers her words of sympathy when the witness' widow slaps Calleigh in the face for offering words of condolence.

Episode 7.09 - Power Trip. Eric and Calleigh disagree with each other in this episode. Eric believes that the killer they're looking for is another cop, in fact the cop that worked a case almost identical to their current case. Calleigh believes that this particular cop, although suspicious, is only trying to bring the killer to justice. Calleigh later agrees with Eric when Reggie Mastow, the cop in question, corners her in the elevator and gets overaggressive to the point where Calleigh feels the need to draw her attention.

Episode 7.10 - The Deluca Motel. Eric is somewhat involved in a shooting at a motel, where we later learn he's been living for a while. Eric tells Horatio that his condo is being remodeled, but when Calleigh arrives to work the scene and shows her concern for his safety, he tells her that he's just trying to figure some stuff out. We later find out that Eric has discovered that his birth certificate is fake and that he was born in Cuba. We also learn that the Russian mafia is after Eric, and that his biological father, Alexander Sharova, is a member of the Russian Brotherhood.

Episode 7.12 - Head Case. Eric feels sorry for Doug Benson, who was found roaming the streets covered in blood, but no memory to explain it. Worried about Eric, Calleigh asks if he's okay, due to the similarities with his memory problems. After being comforted by Calleigh, Eric tells her how important their friendship is to him, and that he knows she read his file (7.03). Calleigh later tells Eric that she's confused, and that she doesn't know if he even believes what he said in his file. When Calleigh walks away, Eric tells himself that he does believe it. He also seems upset when Frank interrupts their conversation on the street.

Episode 7.13 - And They're Offed. Robert Banyon, a racehorse owner, is killed in his suite at the track. While working the scene, Eric asks Calleigh why she didn't join him and the others the night before. She gives her reasons and apologizes, but he waves away the apology, briefly saying that she missed a good time. Calleigh notices the food on the table and comments that the only item not supplied by the track is a box of truffles, and that she knows this because they're her favorites. At the end, Eric goes through the lab looking for Calleigh. When he realizes that she's gone for the day, he pulls a box of the coveted truffles from his bag and leaves them in Firearms with her name on them.

Episode 7.14 - Smoke Gets in Your CSI's. Ryan and Caleigh arrive at a callout and joke about Calleigh's driving. When Ryan asks about what's going on between her and Eric, Calleigh dodges the question. After the fire, Eric catches Calleigh and holds her when she starts having trouble breathing. He goes with her to the hospital and holds a bedside vigil, talking to a presumably unaware and unconscious Calleigh. He explains what the doctors are doing for her and finally confesses that he can't imagine life without her. When the investigation pulls him from her side, he puts his watch on her, which is the first thing she looks at upon waking up. When Eric returns and finds her awake, he begins to explain leaving his watch until she tells him that she heard everything he said, but wasn't sure if it was real. He assures her it was real and stays with her.

Episode 7.16 - Sink or Swim. Eric is placed in custody as a suspected "illegal immigrant". The first person to visit him is Calleigh, who first questions why he didn't tell her about his fake birth certificate, then assures him that "they" will get through it. Horatio and Calleigh discover that Sharova is actually from New Mexico, which proves Eric is an American regardless of the fact that he was born in Cuba. Calleigh waits for Eric and jokingly (?) tells him that she would've married him if Sharova hadn't stepped up, then offers to make him dinner at her place before kissing him to stop the coming protests. They walk off with their arms around each other.

Episode 7.18 - Flight Risk. While investigating the death of a flight attendant, Eric daydreams about jetting off on a romantic trip with Calleigh. Meanwhile, Ryan and Natalia find the "romp room" and Ryan tells Natalia his suspicions about Eric and Calleigh. Back at the lab, while is Eric is processing luggage, Calleigh brings him coffee with a smile.

Episode 7.19 - Target Specific.Eric and Calleigh work together on getting prints from a weapon in their case, using some rarely used methods. When Calleigh returns to the crime scene for more leads, she is attacked by the same perp. Eric joins her soon after this, arriving in time to hear the perp leaving, and hovers until she assures him that she's fine. While going over some photos with Ryan, Eric sees quite a few of Calleigh and gets jealous over one of her with Terrence the horse trainer. Ryan comments on the possibility of competition for Calleigh, but Eric evades. When Eric shows the pictures to Calleigh, he gets jealous about her concern for Terrence until she tells him that the picture was taken before they got together.

Episode 7.20 - Wolfe In Sheeps Clothing. The first scene shows Calleigh turning on the shower in her bathroom, then shifts to Eric waking up in her bed and getting into the shower. Then, as Eric steps out of the shower, Calleigh walks in putting on her earrings and they share a smile.

Episode 7.22 - Dead on Arrival. While processing tire tread marks linked to a murder, Eric tells Calleigh how out-of-place he feels at the lab with everyone buzzing about their victim. Calleigh tells him it's a "girl thing", and he comments that she still manages to surprise him after all the years they've known each other. When it dawns on Eric to ask why she's not buzzing with everyone else, she claims having a new "diversion" and describes him in detail.

Episode 7.24 - Dissolved. Calleigh and Eric share a little flirty banter while neutralizing a pool laced with sodium hydroxide. Eric gets a phone call and later tells Calleigh that it was Sharova. Calleigh pleads with Eric to be extremely careful when dealing with Sharova.

Episode 7.25 - Seeing Red. Calleigh again asks Eric to be careful when dealing with Sharova. This starts the argument between them about Eric's loyalties and morals. Calleigh tells Eric that she won't watch him cross the line if he gets involved in Sharova's affairs. She later fears that she may have shot Eric when he isn't in the car with Sharova when they find it in the Glades, and walks away crying.

Season 8

Episode 8.01 - Out of Time. Calleigh, Horatio and other uniformed officers and dogs search the Glades for Eric after he crashes. Calleigh's emotions are evident when she questions Horatio for the first time EVER. Once Eric is found, they get him to the hospital, where Alexx takes over. Alexx's update for a waiting Calleigh brings little encouragement and Calleigh loses her composure, openly showing her feelings for Eric. In the flashbacks, we see Eric and Calleigh's first conversation, when Eric is still the smooth-talking "player" hitting on the pretty blonde. This is made more comical when Calleigh doesn't fall for his line and basically tells him that he's wasting his time on her with her "no socializing with anyone work related" rule. The two most important people to Eric, Horatio and Calleigh, flank his bed when he wakes, with the others also in the room. Calleigh's relief when Eric opens his eyes is transparent, and impossible to miss!

Episode 8.02 - Hostile Takeover. Natalia is surprised when Calleigh comes to work when Eric is released from the hospital, having expected Calleigh to take a personal day to be home with Eric. Calleigh calmly explains that they've been advised to not have any contact until the investigation into the shooting is done. When asked if she'd been able to tell Eric that she didn't shoot at him purposely, Calleigh distantly says that she had shot at him, as he was a suspect fleeing a crime scene. All of this seems frigid until the look on Calleigh's face shows her torn feelings between duty, and devotion to Eric. Calleigh's main coping mechanism, the "cold shoulder" facade, is merely her way of getting through the trials and tribulations.

Episode 8.03 - Bolt Action. The investigation into the shooting comes to a head with interviews for Calleigh and Eric with Stetler. Although still unable to speak to each other, the looks across the room between Calleigh and Eric speak volumes, as if trying to embrace each other with their eyes. Stetler tries to pit them against each other by taking their words out of context, and insinuating that Eric has a problem with Calleigh's inability to trust most of the men in her life, and trying to make Calleigh believe that Eric is breaking off their personal relationship in favor of their work relationship. When finally allowed to speak to each other, Calleigh and Eric agree that Stetler twisted things around, and they fall back into their usual friendly banter.

Episode 8.05 - Bad Seed. Eric finally returns to work and jumps right into an E-Coli poisoning case. Calleigh automatically takes Eric to start tracing the source of the poison. Her first words to Eric once they're alone are words of welcome with her usual "only-for-Eric" smile. Calleigh notices that the objective Eric she is used to is completely different from the Eric with her now. She also notices that he seems to be pulling away from everyone, including her. Calleigh's repeated joy in Eric's return is met with uncertainty from Eric. She continues to watch him, and comes to the correct conclusion that he's leaving CSI. After agreeing to keeping quiet, Calleigh asks where they stand romantically, to which Eric's only response is that she knows him too well. Eric kisses and hugs her briefly, then walks out as Calleigh desperately holds back tears while watching him walk out of one aspect of her life.

Episode 8.11 - Delko for the Defense. Eric finally returns to CSI, but on the other side of things- he's the expert witness for the defense in a murder investigation. Going by episode timeline alone, it looks as if Eric has been missing from Miami for about 6 weeks, and we later find that Calleigh seems to have been the only one on the team privy to Eric's whereabouts- Puerto Rico. Eric's return is met with some animosity from Frank and Jesse, Frank for the slight feeling of betrayal and Jesse because he doesn't seem too happy to see Calleigh's obvious joy at having Eric around again. Calleigh is really happy to see Eric, even at the crime scene where he's basically watching their every move and looking for loopholes in their interpretation of the evidence that may work for the defense. When the case seems to be closed, and Eric is no longer required to shadow the team, Calleigh asks what he's planning on doing- going back to Puerto Rico, etc. Eric's answer to Calleigh is one of the biggest HipHugger moments of the season so far: He says that although he loved it in Puerto Rico, he missed Miami- and when he says Miami, the look in his eyes as he gazes at her makes you think that missing Miami is code for "I missed you". Calleigh returns the gaze and says that Miami missed him which, in code, would mean "I missed you, too." Calleigh then proceeds to tell Eric that she heard the state attorney's office is looking for a forensic expert, and he decides to think about it as a fairly nice lateral career move. The episode ends with Eric walking into the state attorney's office, presumably for an interview. We are left to wonder what the outcome of said interview will be, and how it will affect Eric and his relationship with Calleigh, although the most positive thought to come to mind is that they will still be on the same side, and it would almost be like working together, without the departmental policy on personal relationships between coworkers standing in their way.

Episode 8.14 - In The Wind. Eric is now working for the state's attorney's office, even though when this episode starts he's not officially supposed to start for another week. The episode starts by going back and forth from a jail cell, where a man is on death row and about to be executed, to Calleigh's house (the same that we saw in WISC) where she and Eric, it seems, have had quite a bit of "fun" together! That is pretty much the conclusion you have to come to when you see the scattered clothing and shoes, the lights on low, and Calleigh walking around in nothing but a man's white dress shirt! This conclusion is strengthened further when you see that Eric is lying in bed waiting for her...and it's only interrupted when their phones ring. The end of the episode may make you wonder where things are really heading, because of their comments about saying "it" won't happen again- and the grin Eric throws Calleigh's way to make her blush just adds to the wonder! It looks as if neither of them is quite ready to admit how they really feel about each other...

Episode 8.20 - Backfire. Calleigh and Ryan are first on scene at a house fire, and Calleigh insists on running in to try to save the boy trapped inside. Ryan tries to stop her, but eventually ends up following her in. Calleigh's ARDS (Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome) rears its ugly head again, and Calleigh is rushed to the hospital. While "in limbo", Calleigh doesn't realize that even though she feels like she's fine and working the case with the others, she's actually lying in the hospital on a ventilator. Eric, working for the DA's office, was supposed to be working a case in Tampa, but appears at the hospital when Jesse and Natalia arrive to visit Calleigh. This is when Calleigh finally gets that she's having an out of body experience...and only returns to her body after pretty much solving the case (in limbo, accompanied by the ghost of the boy who died in the house, and who everyone else thinks is the arsonist) and flatlining. Eric is there when the doctors work to get Calleigh's heart started again, and is the first one that the doctor tells all the results to. Calleigh, while awake, can't talk and has to practically use sign language to get Eric to understand her, but finally gets the fact that she has something for Horatio across...and he, Jesse and Natalia go back to the house. When Calleigh is released from the hospital, she goes to the morgue and says goodbye to Patrick, the boy who died in the house. Eric finds her at the door of the morgue and calls her "Babe" before trying to get her to go back to the hospital. One of the best HipHugger moments of the season- and one that pretty much solidifies the idea that their relationship is still going strong, despite rumors from other sources.

Episode 8.21 - Meltdown. A jewelry store robbery goes south when one of the suspects kills one of the witnesses. While investigating how the thieves got away, Calleigh thinks she sees Jake Berkeley in the crowd, then Jesse finds a VIN plate next to her kit. Upon following the information from the DMV records, Calleigh and Frank arrive at a warehouse and shots are fired inside soon after. Once inside, Calleigh and Frank come face to face with Jake and take him in for questioning. Eric shows up at the lab and it's soon clear that he's investigating the lab for missing evidence, especially when the diamonds from the robbery (which were taken out of their settings and left at the warehouse) go missing. Natalia discovers that Eric is wearing a wire (her hearing aid goes haywire) and finds out that Horatio knows about Eric's investigation. Eric finds evidence that leads him to think that it's possible that Jake is the one stealing evidence, but can't prove it without a doubt. Later, Calleigh comes into the lab where Eric is working and tells him that he doesn't need to worry about Jake. At first Eric thinks she's talking about Jake getting between them until Calleigh tells him that Jake couldn't have taken the diamonds because she had taken Jake to the hospital to get checked out. At hearing this, Eric acts a little jealous, but waves it off as curiosity. Calleigh then throws huge hints that she's heading home...and Eric tells her to "save a little something", then follows her out and to the locker room, where plans are being made for drinks between Natalia, Ryan and Walter. Once Calleigh and Eric are included (as a couple), however, Natalia bows out, much to the confusion of Ryan, Walter and Calleigh- but not to Eric. Calleigh seemed sad that Natalia wouldn't be joining them, but happy that they'd all have fun- especially her and Eric.

Episode 8.22 - Mommy Deadest. The team is looking into the murder of a suburban soccer mom, and finding many twists and turns. Eric is still investigating the lab, but hasn't told Calleigh the full extent of it. She comes home unexpectedly and Eric has to hide the paperwork on the case without being obvious about hiding something from her. At the end, Eric is on his way to talk to Rebecca Nevins about a possible lead in the case when her car blows up with her next to it. When Eric hits the ground, we see that Calleigh followed him.

Episoed 8.23 - Time Bomb. This episode overlaps with the ending of the previous one. We see the conversation that leads to Calleigh following Eric to his meet with Nevins. This is where everyone learns that Eric has been investigating them, and no one is happy about his deception. Things get rocky between Eric and Calleigh, due to him not telling her annd the fact that he had been wearing a wire. Eric later admits to knowing that he'll have to regain her trust, and Calleigh doesn't make it look like she'll make it too difficult.

Episode 8.24 - All Fall Down. Eric informs Horatio that he wants to come back to the lab full time and jumps in to help with the killer that is taunting them. The CSIs all received letters in the mail containing clues to the case, but they always seem to be one step behind the killer. At the end, Eric returns to the lab, only to find everyone unconscious. Horatio and Frank finally arrested the killer, so they weren't at the lab. Eric frantically runs through the lab looking for Calleigh, and finds her unconscious in Firearms.

Season 9

Season 9 Episode 2 "Sudden Death"

Calleigh: (smiling) "Tell me somethin' good."
Eric: "Okay. I just got the time of the incited incident."
Calleigh: "All right. I'll take it. Well, the computer receipts say that the champagne was delivered to Ellison at 11:57pm, so it has to be sometime after that."
Eric: "It was. The confetti in Kristin's lungs puts her inside the club exactly at midnight when the champagne was forced on her."
Calleigh: "Okay. I'm guessing you wanna take a look at the VIP seating chart?"
Eric: (grinning) "I do."
Calleigh: "Well, I tell you what: I will look at the hard copies and I will call you after I've done that."
Eric: "That's great. Thanks."
Calleigh: "Uh-hmm."

Eric: (walking into the locker room) "Hey."
Calleigh: (at her locker) "Hey."
Eric: "So, you outta here?"
Calleigh: "Yep, I'm leavin'. I'm gonna go have dinner with a friend."
Eric: "A friend, huh? Tryin' to have a life outside of this place?"
Calleigh: (laughing) "I'm tryin'."
Eric: "Huh. It's none of my business."
Calleigh: (turning to look at him) "Well, sure it is. We're friends. That's the kind of thing friends talk about."

Eric: (grinning slightly, but avoiding eye contact) "Yeah, I guess they do."
Calleigh: (quietly) "You know I love you like family."
Eric: "Yeah, I know." (smiling) "That's what we are, right?"
Calleigh: (smiling slightly) "Absolutely."
Eric: "Have a good night."
Calleigh: "You too." (Eric watches her walk out)
